We picked up at the hotel at 17:15 and then the bus went with the Thomas Cook guides to the port of Rhodes. A total of 101 people from all the Nordic countries went along and in Rhodes harbor we went on the boat Love Boat to go to Stegna Beach. Really nice trip and the sun was very intense.
Well at Stegna Beach, we had to switch to smaller boats, as the big boat can not go all the way to the beach. Then we were welcomed with a drink and then there was a barbecue and wine.
After eating, we had the Midsummer celebrations and they had combined all the Nordic countries’ traditions and made games, ring dance, fire and more.
Very cozy first day and we celebrate midsummer even though it was in a little different way than usual! Then took us the buses back to the hotel and yes.. we fell asleep immediately!
Tomorrow it’s time for an excursion to Symi and the bus will pick you up early in the morning.
